Quick Start
Native 2nd generation vertical shooting
DJI RS 4 features a newly designed horizontal plate, enabling a second-generation native vertical shooting function for faster and easier operation. Release the horizontal plate and secure it in the upright position to easily switch to vertical shooting without the need for additional accessories, paving the way for efficient vertical video creation.
2nd generation automated axis blocks
Automated axis blocks allow RS 4 to start operations or enter rest mode, significantly improving shooting, transition and storage efficiency. In addition, the axis blocks have smaller spaces when locked, further reducing stabilizer vibration.
Our smoothest balancing experience ever
DJI RS 4 features a Teflon™ coating for all three axes, resulting in reduced friction and smoother balance.
When interchanging cameras or lenses, the adjustment knob on the tilt axis can move the camera forward or backward, achieving millimeter-accurate balancing.
The top quick-release plate has an additional adjustable positioning guide to ensure secure mounting of the camera.
Automatic screen lock
The OLED touchscreen incorporates a new auto-lock feature. Once locked, the screen will display the current stabilizer and joystick modes at a lower brightness. This prevents accidental touches and helps conserve battery power.

Powerful stabilization
Excellent carrying capacity
The ultra-lightweight body boasts a load capacity of 3 kg (6.6 lbs.). It can carry combinations of mirrorless cameras and traditional lenses, allowing for a comfortable grip and high power.
Compared with the previous generation, the RS 4’s tilt axis has been extended by 8.5 mm, providing a wider balance space. This allows you to mount combinations of mirrorless cameras and traditional lenses along with accessories such as ND filters, expanding the scope of creative potential.
4th generation RS stabilization algorithm
DJI has fully optimized the next-generation RS stabilization algorithm for different usage scenarios. It achieves a superior balance between stabilization force and tactile feel of camera movement, offering excellent stabilization performance and an enhanced user experience. In addition, RS 4 offers greatly improved stability during vertical shots, easily stabilizing dynamic shots such as running or low-angle perspectives.
Professional level creation
DJI RS 4 supports the professional-level features of DJI PRO products, providing superior performance that will make solo creations even more efficient.
Bluetooth wireless control
DJI RS 4 can remotely control the camera shutter and lens zoom using Bluetooth Dual-Mode technology. In zoom control mode, you can use the joystick to unlock the Power Zoom function for PZ and Clear Image Zoom lenses, achieving native zoom. A camera only needs to be paired once. After that, it can reconnect easily and automatically.
Motor Mount for DJI Focus Pro
When paired with the new DJI Focus Pro Engine, DJI RS 4 allows you to control lens focus via thumbwheel or adjust lens zoom via joystick. These ultra-smooth operations enable efficient lens control.

Trigger customization
The functions of the trigger can be customized in FPV mode, where by pressing and holding it, the three axes of the stabilizer will follow the direction of the handle movement. This is especially useful during rotational shooting or for simulating POVs.
Stabilization mode selector
By operating the stabilization mode dial, you can quickly switch to PF, PTF and FPV modes. You can also set the FPV mode to 3D 360 roll mode or Custom mode according to your shooting requirements, ensuring the accuracy of RS 4.

Ecosystem of accessories
RSA communication port
DJI RS 4 introduces an RSA communication port, which allows the connection of accessories such as the DJI RS Control Grip and third-party accessories such as control grips and remote control ring grips. You can easily select different shooting configurations according to your creative needs.
With the DJI RS SDK protocol, third-party manufacturers and individual developers will be able to develop custom functions for RS 4, meeting a wider range of shooting requirements.
DJI RS SDK creates a joint ecosystem with developers.
DJI RS SDK is a developer protocol provided by DJI for third-party developers and hardware manufacturers to equip stabilizers such as RS 4, RS 4 Pro, and RS 3 Pro with more features for extended scenarios.
Features
Setting the position of the stabilizer | Checking the rotation of the stabilizer | Obtaining motor and attitude information | Controlling the camera focus and shutter release |
Application uses
- Build a virtual studio system that allows PCs or consoles to be used to control the RS stabilizer. It also supports online control of several RS 2 units, allowing a single operator to operate several devices simultaneously;
- Mount the RS stabilizer on a slider and connect the two via programming for four-dimensional control. You can customize the shooting track for effortless expressive camera movements.
