Multiple charging options

DJI Power 500 can be charged in three ways: mains, USB-C, solar power, and power from the car. Whether you are indoors or on the road, you can choose the charging method that suits you best.

Power grid

It is practical and quick to connect and charge. When plugged in, DJI Power 500 supports both 540 W fast charging mode and 270 W standard charging mode. The fastest charging time for a 100 battery is 70 minutes. It can recharge from 0 to 80% in only 50 minutes.

USB-C Charging

DJI Power 500 can be charged via two 100 W USB-C ports, for a total of 200 W of input power, and can be fully charged in about three hours.

Solar Energy

DJI Power 500 can be connected to solar panels using the DJI Power Solar Panel Adapter Module (MPPT) or SDC Power Cable from Car Power Socket to DJI Power and recharged with environmentally friendly solar power. MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking) is an intelligent algorithm that supports real-time monitoring of the voltage generated by the connected solar panels. By tracking and maintaining the highest voltage and current (V-I) values, the algorithm enables the solar panels to recharge DJI Power 500 in an optimized and efficient manner.

* Solar panels from the certified DJI Zignes brand are recommended. DJI Power 500 supports a maximum solar power input of 300 W and can be fully recharged via solar power in about 1.8 to 4 hours.

Car power supply

Power up your every trip.With the SDC Power Cable from Car Power Socket to DJI Power (12 V/24 V), you can fully charge DJI Power 500 via car charger in just six hours.

Intelligent Battery Management System (BMS)When the safe threshold of electricity consumption is exceeded, the protection mechanism for power supply and charging will automatically take action.Once the power supply returns to normal, DJI Power 500 will resume operation.

Safe and reliable power supply

Power Failure ProtectionTenfuses located throughout the power station provide circuit protection for each module. Even if a fault occurs in the circuit, DJI Power 500 will respond quickly and safely.

UPS mode, uninterrupted power supply

If an electrical device is connected to a powered DJI Power 500 (via the AC output port) and both receive power from the grid, DJI Power 500 will switch to UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) mode by default. In the event of a sudden power failure, DJI Power 500 can start powering the connected device(s) within 0.02 seconds, Ensuring continuous operation.

Silent operations

The noise level of DJI Power 500 is only 25 dB during charging, lower than that of most domestic refrigerators, so there will be no noise disturbance even in quiet environments.

The dual bi-directional 100 W USB-C ports support both power input and output, and support the PD 3.0 fast charging protocol, ensuring efficient output and input. Both ports can simultaneously charge DJI Power 500 at a maximum of 200 W or provide power separately to devices such as cameras, phones, and laptops at 100 W max.
